Our establishment is one of the original Chinese restaurants around which Chinatown has grown. It began life over twenty years ago as the Hong Kong restaurant, establishing the link with Hong Kong by being one of the first in the city to serve authentic Cantonese cuisine. Since then the restaurant has been extensively modified and upgraded and hence re-named The New Hong Kong.

With the Chinese Arch standing proudly outside our establishment, we sit right in the heart of Chinatown and our listed building is a major local landmark.
